Join us in reimagining America's approach to criminal justice.

The discriminatory and unscientific policies of the

War on Drugs have destroyed millions of lives, devastated countless communities and

exacerbated America's racial inequities.

The Equity Organization is helping to right some of these wrongs by advocating for criminal justice and drug policy reform on the local, state and federal levels.

We partner with a coalition of grassroots activists, legal scholars and elected officials to create scholarship around, advocate for and advance just and equitable criminal justice and drug policy reform around the country.

In recent months, The Equity Organization has worked on the development of equitable cannabis legalization legislation in New York, produced a comprehensive set of recommendations for federal cannabis policy reform, and penned dozens of opinion pieces, policy papers and direct-action campaigns aimed at driving broader awareness of—and momentum behind—these critically important issues.

A just and equitable society demands a more effective, humane and equitable approach to America's criminal justice system. Thank you for joining us in this endeavor.
