Help Flip a Seat in the Reddest State — and Build a Progressive Movement That Lasts

Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District isn’t just another race. It’s proof that no place is too “red” to fight for progress.

I’m Erica Watkins, a veteran, community organizer, and public-school parent running for Congress because I’ve seen what happens when power is abused and working families are left behind. Our current congressperson, Kevin Hern, isn’t just hurting Oklahomans. His votes in Congress hurt families, workers, and communities across the entire country.

We’re building a grassroots movement right here in Oklahoma, to prove that progress can take root anywhere. Tulsa — the largest city in our district — has already shown what’s possible, electing a progressive mayor and moving steadily blue every election cycle.

As Democrats in Oklahoma, we know how to run our campaigns lean and smart. Every dollar you give goes directly to voter outreach, community organizing, and education. No bloated consultant budgets. No expensive TV ads. Just people talking to people — the way democracy is supposed to work.

This is about more than one election. It’s about building a movement that lasts, one that engages new voters, inspires young people, and shows the country that courage and conviction can win anywhere.

Your support makes that possible.

Every dollar, whether it’s $1,000, $250, $25, or $5, helps us reach voters, train organizers, and keep the fight alive.

Together, we can flip a seat in Oklahoma — and show the nation what’s possible when people believe in hope again.
