Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to the Virgin Islands for Plaskett are not tax deductible. Federal Law requires political committees to use their best efforts to report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in an election cycle. We cannot accept contributions from corporations, labor unions, foreign nationals, and federal government contractors. Individual contributions must be made from the donor’s own funds. Individual contributions must be made from the donor’s personal funds. Federal election law allows individuals to donate up to $2,800 designated per election.
Contributions to Swalwell for Congress are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions are limited to $3,300 per individual per election. Federal law requires use of our best efforts to report the name, address, occupation and the employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 per election cycle.
