If, like most climate hawks, you’ve donated to the DNC or a Democratic Presidential campaign, you’ve probably been rewarded with a never-ending stream of text messages and emails asking for more money - not all of them honest. Demands are often in ALL CAPS, or claim to be from celebrities like George Clooney and Barack Obama.
Sometimes they claim to be warnings from respected leaders that something awful is about to happen - unless you donate again. Or they promise impossible to believe matching funds and deadlines — Give by midnight and your gift will be matched a zillion percent up to a ga-jillion dollars!
Climate Hawks Vote is leading the charge to make Democratic fundraising more effective, ethical, and grassroots. We worked with a coalition of Democratic groups to convince ActBlue to roll out major changes to its account use policy. We ask you for what we need and we tell you how your donations will help us elect climate champions, win climate policies, and stand up to Trump and his MAGA minions. And we don’t sell your name to spammy scammers either
