I would like to begin by thanking you for your support when we ran a last-minute write-in campaign after the Democratic winner of the Primary withdrew from the race in 2022.
Together, we won a hard-fought campaign. It always takes more effort for a voter to actually write in a name and am so proud of what we accomplished.
There is no doubt that winning the race happened because of you, and just want you to know that being in the Arizona State Senate has changed my life. I am forever grateful that your generosity helped make this possible.
Today, I am beyond excited to announce that I am running for re-election to the Arizona State Senate and my name will be on the ballot this time!
It was an honor to have had the opportunity to introduce legislation that was passed in the Senate three months after being sworn in, and later signed by Governor Katie Hobbs. The unanimous passage of this legislation by both parties in both houses, makes me only one of two Democratic Senators to successfully pass legislation.
My bill, SB1315, ensures school districts include how schools and emergency responders will communicate and provide assistance to students with disabilities in their emergency plans.
As a mother and longtime teacher and administrator, the well-being of our children will always be at the top of my agenda.
I cannot emphasize how grateful I am to my family and friends, the voters of my district, and everyone who supported my write-in candidacy.
I hope I can count on your support once again. Could you please chip in a donation of $20 or more to my re-election campaign today? Thank you so much!
