The Eva Lee Parker Fund

The Eva Lee Parker Fund was created by her granddaughter, Melody Gross. On the surface it would not seem like a stay-at-home mother and her entrepreneur granddaughter would have something in common but they are both survivors of domestic violence.


The fund will provide financial support for Black women who are currently experiencing abuse by an intimate partner. The funds can be used for:


travel to escape rent/deposits

car maintenance and gas

broken items in the home

other non-discretionary needs


This fund is being sponsored by The Sanctuary in the City a registered 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax deductible.

  1. This contribution is made from my own funds or the funds of an authorizing corporation or other entity, and the funds are not being provided by any other person or entity.
