Finally, it’s fall! I hope this letter finds you and your family healthy, happy and enjoying football & cooler temps! It’s also horse racing time… the Colonial Cup is on November 23rd, 2025, and my race is on! Yes, I am running for the SC House of Representatives, District 70. This will be a competitive race, and I need your help. I would like to invite you to a pre-cup, private party fundraiser on Thursday, November 13th, 2025 at the 1011 Galleria Art Shoppes, 1011 Broad St., Camden, SC 29020 from 6-8pm. Public parking is available off Commerce Alley, or on Broad St. (you will enter through Salud). Let’s have some fun! There will be music, food and drink, as well as a silent auction.


This election, the Democratic primary, held on Tues., June 9th, 2026, will determine who the next Representative for our community will be. I believe I am the best candidate for the job. I will show up, speak up and take action. 


When elected, I will fight for:


  • Stronger gun control laws
  • Women’s health, including reproductive rights
  • Education and our public schools
  • Economic equality, including setting a state minimum wage law, and getting a Hate Crimes law
  • Better infrastructure and more affordable housing. 


Let’s get to work on making South Carolina a more just and inclusive state.


I’m ready to take my community service to the next level and fight for us. I would love to have you join us at this fundraiser, but I understand that life sometimes gets in the way. That said, I am humbly asking you for a minimum donation of $100, up to $1000. Even if you can’t give $100, keep in mind that every little bit helps. 


In closing, I want to humbly thank you for your support and encouragement. Let’s go. We need more women elected to our SC House of Representatives! Everyone for Eve: Expect More. Hope to see you on November 13th!
