READ BEFORE DONATING! (1) If you are a DC resident, please check that your DC address is populating in ActBlue. If you see a non-DC address, it is likely an old address that ActBlue has cached, and you can change it in your ActBlue account settings. It's important for DC residents to donate using their DC address so the campaign can take advantage of the 5:1 match.


(2) Thanks to the Fair Elections Program, DC residents get their contribution matched 5:1. Under program rules, all individuals may contribute up to $200 total; any amount above that will be refunded. Please make sure your TOTAL donations do not exceed $200.


(3) The law prohibits District contractors that are seeking or that hold contracts with a cumulative value of over $250,000 from making certain political contributions to candidates for elected office.


Please be aware that any donations made after November 9, 2022 to candidates for Mayor, Attorney General, or Council, as well as any political committee or constituent-service program thereto, may impact your eligibility to contract with the District.


This campaign is bringing together community leaders, workers, entrepreneurs, artists, and policy experts from across Washington, DC to help inform Janeese's vision for the city's future.


Everything we're doing today serves two purposes:

  • Strengthening the campaign through Election Day.
  • Building a strong foundation so that, if Janeese is elected mayor this November, the administration can begin governing effectively on Day One.


Working groups, listening sessions, and community outreach efforts are made possible because supporters invest in the campaign.

  1. I am at least eighteen years old.
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  4. I am either a District of Columbia resident individual making a small-dollar contribution or a non-District of Columbia resident individual.
  5. I certify and affirm that this contribution is being made in my name and from my own funds.
  6. I am making this contribution voluntarily and I have not received anything of value in return for this contribution.
  7. I understand that making a false statement is a violation of the law.
  8. I hereby affirm that I was not, nor, to my knowledge, was anyone else, reimbursed in any manner for this contribution; that this contribution is not being made as a loan; and that this contribution is being made from my personal funds or my personal account, which has no corporate or business affiliation.
  9. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
