Morgan Evers

A Teacher Fighting for Working Families Not Corporations

Morgan Evers is a NYC teacher, community organizer and disability advocate running for NY's 81st Assembly District in the North Bronx.

The district includes the communities of Woodlawn, Van Cortlandt Village, Spuyten Duyvil, Riverdale, Fieldston and parts of Kingsbridge, Norwood and Wakefield.

The 81st Assembly District has had the same representative since 1994. In 2026, voters can elect someone new who is committed to finding solutions to the affordability crisis impacting the everyday needs of working people in today's economy.

Unlike the deeply entrenched incumbent, Morgan is not taking any campaign contributions from the real estate lobby or corporate interests.

This is a grassroots historic campaign. When elected, Morgan will be the first blind woman to serve in the New York state legislature.

On June 23rd, let's send a teacher to Albany!
