The EveryLibrary Institute is supported entirely by donations and grants from foundations, mission-driven philanthropies, and individual donors, both large and small, who care deeply about the future of library funding and librarianship.
We're dedicated to building support for library funding across the United States and beyond. Our efforts include conducting research about the value and importance of libraries, educating the public about their impact, training librarians to become effective advocates, and providing critical tools, resources, and support to the nation's first and only political action committee dedicated to libraries, EveryLibrary.
Through these efforts, we have secured over $1.8 billion in new or renewed funding for libraries, helped keep dozens of library doors open, and advocated for school and public libraries at local, state, and federal levels. Learn more about our impact in our Annual Reports.
