First In Line: Alaska

Alaskans are tough, independent. Living in a rugged environment teaches you to be self-reliant and confident that you can take on a challenge.

That's doubly true for the Democrats running for state legislature in some of Alaska's reddest districts. They're showing up in places that haven't had a Democratic option on the ballot in years – knocking doors, making connections, giving voters a choice.

Research shows that just having a Democrat on the ballot increases vote share at the top of the ticket by 1.5%. Running everywhere benefits everyone.

You can help! Our goal is to raise $2,500 per candidate – enough for yard signs, postcards, and gas money. The basics that make the difference between a real campaign and just a name on the ballot.

*We fund in rounds, the districts that went uncontested in 2024 first, then Solid R, Likely R, and Lean R. Our target is to raise $2,500 per candidate. Note: The current fundraising goal is a milestone toward the overall target. Once we raise the equivalent of $2,500 per page recipient (which in Alaska's Roun 1 is $7,500), the next round opens.
