First In Line: Wisconsin

Wisconsin elections are decided by fractions of a percent.

In 2016, 2020, and 2024, every presidential race here was decided by less than one point.

In a state this close, the math matters everywhere – including the reddest districts where Democrats have been running without resources or not running at all.

Research shows that going from an uncontested race to a contested one leads to a 1.5% vote share increase for the top of the ticket. Funding amplifies the effect and boosts turnout.

That added vote share could make the difference this year, when Wisconsin has a statewide governor's race.

Four Democrats are running in districts that went completely uncontested last cycle. First In Line is making sure they have what they need to run a real campaign.

These candidates are giving voters a choice, holding extremists accountable, and turning out voters that lift the entire ticket — in a year when every single vote in Wisconsin counts.

Our goal is $2,500 per candidate – enough for yard signs, postcards, and gas money – basics that make the difference between a real campaign and just a name on a ballot.
