First In Line: West Virginia

For years, Democrats in West Virginia have run in districts where nobody expected them to win — and sometimes where nobody expected them to run at all.

They knocked on doors anyway. They organized their neighbors anyway. They put their names on the ballot anyway.

First In Line is for them.

First In Line funds the candidates doing the hardest work in the hardest places. By running, they're giving voters a choice, holding extremists accountable, and rebuilding their local Democratic infrastructure from the ground up.

We start with districts that went completely uncontested in 2024 and work our way out from there.

Our goal is $2,500 per candidate – enough for yard signs, postcards, and the gas it takes to reach a neighbor miles down a rural road. The basics that make the difference between a real campaign and just a name on a ballot.

These candidates aren't waiting to be rescued. They just need to know someone's got their back.

First In Line funds in rounds: uncontested districts first, then Solid R, Likely R, and Lean R. Once a round hits its goal, the next opens. A candidate not listed may not yet qualify for this round, may still have a primary, or may not have an ActBlue page set up.
