First In Line: Wyoming

Wyoming is one of the reddest states in the country.

Republicans hold 29 of 31 state Senate seats and 56 of 62 state House seats.

So why fund Democratic state legislative candidates here?

Because a funded candidacy in a state like this does something pure organizing can't. It puts a Democrat on the ballot, opens doors, starts conversations, and builds the infrastructure the long game requires.

These four candidates are running in districts that had no Democrat on the ballot at all last cycle – some of the toughest political territory in the country. First In Line is making sure they have what they need to make that candidacy count.

Our goal is $2,500 per candidate – enough for yard signs, postcards, and gas money to reach neighbors spread across miles of rural road – basics that make the difference between a real campaign and just a name on a ballot.

These candidates aren't waiting to be rescued. They just need to know someone's got their back. And we do. We hope you do, too.
