In 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the country, organizers from UE, DSA, and the Bernie Sanders 2020 campaign came together to launch EWOC — an effort to support non-unionized workers risking their lives to keep their jobs. What began as a simple sign-up form, spreadsheet, and group chat has grown into a powerful organizing project. In just five years, EWOC has supported over 3,700 workplace organizing campaigns through the efforts of hundreds of volunteer organizers. And we're just getting started.


We couldn't have made it this far without the steady stream of support of grassroots monthly donations, which has allowed us to grow and secure additional funds from unions and foundations committed to EWOC's mission.


But to stay independent and meet the organizing needs of workers in their fights for workplace democracy, we need a broader base of sustaining monthly donors. This grassroots support keeps us accountable, fuels our growth, and allows us to scale up to meet the urgent needs of non-unionized workers everywhere.
