To our fellow citizen:

We find ourselves in a turbulent period of American history. A President and controlling party that flouts democratic norms, touts open conflicts of interest, erodes civil liberties, and robs the poor to give to the rich. In our local community, despite voter registration being nearly even between Democrats and Republicans, we as Democrats are on our back foot. Republicans control 4/5 of Folsom's City Council seats. Both state legislature seats. County supervisor. And Congress. We as Democrats are underrepresented in our local government!

We are here change all of this, but here's the hitch: we can't do it without your help.

Join the Folsom Area Democratic Club to make the 2026 midterms our most effective year yet. Your membership powers the organizing needed to win our congressional seat and support Democratic candidates up and down the ballot.

We are an entirely volunteer, grassroots organization. Every dime goes to our organizing, activism, and supporting Democratic candidates in our area, up and down the ballot.

In 2026 we’re doubling down on what works: focused voter registration, door-to-door outreach, phone/text banking, postcarding, literature drops, and clear, welcoming ways for every member to plug in. Together we’ll stand up for civil rights, voting rights, reproductive freedom, and a healthy, inclusive democracy—and we’ll translate those values into votes.

We also build community. Expect monthly happy hours, casual socials, and meetups that make it easy to connect. FADC is a welcoming place to make friends, find teammates, and feel at home while doing meaningful work—whether you’re brand-new or a seasoned volunteer.

Note: Voting in our club requires you to be a registered Democrat, or an attestation that you intend to register as a Democrat. We will verify your party registration directly, but if we are unable, then we will contact you about getting your help to validate your party registration. Note that you may still join as a non-voting member, we'd love to have you regardless!
