Folsom Area Friend:

Do you feel called to serve your community? Do you want to make an impact on local elections? Maybe you’re looking to connect with some like minded Democrats and make new friends.

We exist to support Democrats in the Folsom Area. In our local community, voter registration is nearly even between Democrats and Republicans, yet we hold only one out of five Folsom City Council seats, neither state legislature office (senate and assembly), nor county supervisor. We as Democrats are underrepresented in local government relative to our numbers.

We're working to change this, but we need your help! Your membership provides the resources needed to win races and support Democratic candidates as we push back against Trump's agenda and protect California values.

We're an entirely volunteer, grassroots organization. Every dollar funds organizing, activism, and supporting local Democratic candidates.

In 2026 we're focusing on proven methods: voter registration, door-to-door outreach, phone/text banking, postcarding, and literature drops. We provide clear ways for every member to contribute as we defend civil rights, voting rights, and reproductive freedom against Trump administration attacks on democracy and our institutions.

We also build community through monthly happy hours, socials, and meetups that make connecting easy. FADC is a place to make friends and do meaningful work—whether you're new or experienced.

Note: Voting in our club requires you to be a registered Democrat or attest that you intend to register as one. We verify party registration directly and will contact you if needed. Non-voting memberships are also welcome!
