My name is Faith Carroll, and I am running for the Castro Valley Unified School District Board, District 4, because I believe strong schools are built through trust, communication, and community.
For 14 years, Castro Valley has been home. My husband, Jeremy, and I are raising three children who have attended CVUSD schools from elementary through high school. I have experienced our district as a parent, classified substitute, volunteer, parent club leader and CVHS choir booster secretary. I have held leadership positions at all the schools my kids have attended, and was also honored as CVUSD Volunteer of the Year for Creekside Middle School.
I want to be a bridge between our community and our schools. I want to listen to our families, supporting our teachers and staff, and collaborate with district leadership. I believe in transparency, respect, and accountability. My priorities include safe schools that are well-maintained, student mental health, responsible facilities planning, and strong communication.
I believe that every student deserves a meaningful path after graduation. We should value trades, apprenticeships, career training, the arts, and college degrees equally, by providing visible, accessible, and fully supported pathways to success for all our students.
If these ideas resonate with you, I hope you’ll support me in the upcoming election.
