Our Climate Education Fund

Support our youth leaders!

Help Our Climate, an environmental justice non-profit, continue to empower youth to advocate for climate justice policies through our Fall Fundraising Campaign!

This fall, we invite you to support Our Climate's mission to empower youth to build community and a thriving world by advocating for climate justice policies. Your contributions will help fund our upcoming initiatives, including our team attending Climate Week in NY and LA. In New York we will be presenting on September 23rd impactful stories and strategies for Environmental Justice x Climate Tech. This past week at LA Climate Week we hosted a Resilience as Resistance event. Additionally, we're excited to onboard a new cohort of fellows this fall, providing them with the skills and mentorship needed to advocate for a sustainable future.

Your donation especially helps us this fall by providing the skills, experiences, and resources to effectively engage in climate justice advocacy efforts.

A few of the accomplishments Our Climate is most proud of this year include:

  • In 2024 so far, we mobilized 2,907 youth, significantly surpassing previous engagement levels. We held 66 power-building events in collaboration with partner organizations, strengthening our collective efforts toward climate justice.
  • We engaged198 youth leaders from frontline communities, ensuring diverse voices were represented in our advocacy work.
  • We built 74 new relationships with legislative offices, fostering broader support for our initiatives.
  • Our commitment to influencing policy was evident in the 144 meetings held with elected officials, underscoring our persistent advocacy for science-based, equitable, and intersectional climate justice policies.

We believe that climate policies must protect frontline communities most affected by the climate crisis. This means investing in frontline communities that are facing the interrelated burdens of racism, economic injustice, inadequate access to healthcare, and climate change.
