100 Days to Go: Our Families are My Priority

Prince George’s County, this is personal.


Today marks exactly 100 days until voting begins in Maryland.


For most of my career, I have walked alongside families during their most sensitive transitions—from working for the safety and permanency of children as a case manager to serving as a Chief of Staff in the Maryland General Assembly.


But this work is also deeply personal.


As a devoted caregiver to my grandmother, I’ve had to navigate the same hurdles many of you face, all while ensuring her care is managed with the dignity she deserves.


I am running for Register of Wills because I believe our families deserve a champion who understands both the heart and the hurdle of this work.
