Support a Refugee Family in the Berkshires

Our area has welcomed incoming refugees from Afghanistan, who have resettled to Pittsfield. The North Adams Democratic City Committee, together with area Democrats, community members, friends and supporters near and far, hope to extend a warm welcome to these families and help to make it easier for them to establish their homes and lives here. To that end, our North Adams Dems Volunteer Team has come together with a goal to raise money for one family's large item wish: a 75" sofa for their home. Since this item takes a village to make happen, we are calling on our village of North Adams Democrats, and our supportive Northern Berkshire community, and beyond, to come together and raise the funds to buy the sofa for this family. They have shopped with their resettlement coordinator, and found the sofa they want at Wayfair.
