The Fayette County Democratic Committee has never purchased billboard space before.
Out of 55,000 votes in Dec. 2022, only 491 votes separated Democrats from Republicans. This year's stakes? Control of the County Commission and School Board. The 48' x 14' digital billboard we're interested in to ensure victory is quoted at $2500 for 4 weeks with an average weekly impression count of about 110,000. You may recognize this particular placement as it rises above Highway 85 facing South next to Starbucks and the Fayette Pavillion:
The FCDC is seeking your help in funding this project in time to reserve space for all of October. Our billboard's principle objective is to drive Democratic turnout for early voting.
We're asking for $2,600 (the extra $100 is to cover processing fees). If 100 Fayette Dems give $26, we could wrap this up by the end of the week!
