Help us stop Trump by electing diverse members to Congress
Today, there are a record number of 20 Asian American and Pacific Islander members of Congress serving in the House and Senate -- but that’s just 3.7% of Congress, and the AAPI community makes up much more of our country than that. And even though the 116th Congress is the most diverse in our nation’s history, people of color only make up 22% of our representatives in the House and Senate.
It’s time for that to change. America will be better off when more people in our legislative process are able to bring diverse backgrounds and viewpoints to the table. We’ve experienced bad policy crafted without a diversity of voices through the Trump administration, and we cannot let this continue.
