Join our Founders Council to Elect More Women in Michigan!
MI List, founded in 2004, is Michigan's premier organization dedicated to increasing the number of pro-choice Democratic women in positions of leadership, influence and power.
The MI List Founders Council was established in 2014 to build a network of sustaining givers to fuel our work. Founders Council members commit to giving a minumum of $1000 annually for at least three years. Members may make a one-time contribution or set up monthly recurring payments of $85 or more.
The 2022 election cycle was our most successful year yet. We contributed to the elections of women at all levels of Michigan state government: Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Supreme Court, State House and State Senate. Democrats flipped both the House and Senate with Winnie Brinks elected as the Senator Majority Leader, the first woman to lead a majority caucus. And women now make up 59% of Democrats serving in the Legislature. Well done!
Our influence cannot stop there. State government is the back stop to federal attacks on reproductive choice, racial justice, healthcare, public education, environmental protections, small business and voting rights. Women are leading efforts to stop these attacks and bring a new era of equity, access and economic security to all Michiganders.

Contribution rules
