Fideicomiso Comunitario Tierra Libre (FCTL) is a community led grassroots organization founded by poor working class people of color. FCTL is organizing and developing leadership skills in the community of Boyle Heights and East Los Angeles to increase the participation of community residents using Voz Y Voto in a democratic way.
FCTL and other housing justice organizations are building a movement to change the conditions of acquiring land and taking care of it collectively.
