Thanks to our hard work organizing pressure from inside and outside of D.C., Congress overturned the Trump era rule allowing Rent-A-Bank schemes last year.
Still even after Congress reinstated protections, Trump appointed FDIC Chair Jelena McWilliams refused to enforce them, effectively keeping this Trump era policy in effect.
