Feeding Catawba County
DWCC is partnering with Catawba County Democratic Party for a canned food drive to distribute to our underserved precincts in Catawba County. Many families are struggling and we want to be a bright spot in their day! Supporting our neighbors is a main focus for us in 2021.
Any monetary donations collected will enable us to purchase items listed below.
We’d like to provide bags of complete meals consisting of:
- meat,
- two vegetables,
- grain,
- fruit and/or snack.
Donation recommendations include:
- Canned protein such as salmon, chicken, tuna, beans
- Canned vegetables
- Canned soups
- Pasta, rice, crackers, and sauces
- Canned fruit and packaged snacks such as nuts, granola bars, popcorn
Contribution rules
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
