Tiffany Fee for School Board

As a committed advocate for our public school system and the parent of a public-school student, I am honored to announce my candidacy for Rutherford County School Board Zone 3. As a candidate, I champion four key causes:

·      Preserving an inclusive environment in our schools,

·      Keeping public money in public schools,

·      Using creative solutions to cover funding shortfalls,

·      Supporting our educators.

These principles are paramount for the well-being and advancement of our schools and are essential to protecting public education, which is the central focus of my platform and candidacy. Together, we can work together to ensure that every student in the Rutherford County school system has an opportunity to thrive in high-quality schools. 

My journey as an advocate for public education has been guided by the belief that every child—regardless of their background or circumstances—deserves access to high-quality education. Having lived in Rutherford County for twenty years, I believe public funds belong in our public schools and our educators need our support. As the parent of a public-school student, I want our school system to be one that fosters growth, embraces inclusion, and empowers every student in our community to reach their full potential.

I have recently served as the president of the Rutherford County Library Alliance. Our nonprofit works to protect intellectual freedom and support library staff in the Rutherford County Library System. RCLA formed to fight back against the Murfreesboro Decency Ordinance, which has since been repealed because it violated citizens’ constitutional rights. I will be as strong an advocate for our students and educators as a member of the county school board.
