Fight Racism in Schools
Texas is using whitewashed textbooks to distort Black history and deny systemic racism.
But we can fight back by putting books about Black history directly into the hands of children across Texas! If we put factual and accurate educational materials about Black history in school libraries across Texas, we can give countless students access to the resources they need to learn the truth.

$5 to put a copy of Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred Taylor in a school library.
$9 to put a copy of A is for Activist by Innosanto Nagara in a school library.
$16 to put a copy of A Young People’s History of the U.S. by Howard Zinn in a school library.
$22 to put a copy of March by Rep. John Lewis and Andrew Aydin in a school library.
