For the first time in many years I have a primary election opponent. I looked forward to a campaign focused on issues and concerns relating to our neighborhoods, district, and state.
Unfortunately, my opponent has begun his campaign by deciding to challenge my nominating petitions and trying to knock me off the ballot. This is not how I believe campaigns should be conducted but it is his choice.
