The Current Problem: Republicans claim to prioritize border security, yet they rubber-stamp no-bid contracts that enrich their cronies and waste YOUR taxpayer dollars. This isn't about security; it's about profiteering and a broken process that undermines public trust. Their approach also leads to inhumane actions, such as sending masked agents into kindergartens and treating all undocumented individuals as hardened criminals, regardless of their contributions to our community. This violates the fundamental "Kindness Doctrine" and the values we hold dear.

However, we cannot demonize or indiscriminately arrest otherwise law-abiding undocumented immigrants who work hard, pay taxes, and contribute significantly to our economy and culture. They weaponize parts of the Old Testament, like Leviticus, to justify division and conflict. Yet, the same scriptures they selectively quote would condemn their own leaders.
