If we don't raise $50,000 by midnight on the 31st, we'll start 2015 behind and may have to cut back on important campaigns.
Here's the good news: after hundreds of ColorOfChange members donated, we only have $8,000 left to go.
There are only two days left in 2014 - chip in to help reach this critical year-end fundraising goal so we don't have to cut back on the big plans we have for the coming year:
1) Invest in holding officials like St. Louis Prosecutor Bob McCulloch accountable, who recently admitted to allowing witnesses who were “clearly not telling the truth” to testify before the Darren Wilson grand jury. This is unacceptable and he needs to be removed from his position immediately. And there's a long list of other elected and appointed officials we mean to hold accountable in 2015 as well.
2) Fight the new right-wing Congress at every step as they attempt to put Black communities in harms way.
3) Strengthen the police accountability work we’ve spear-headed throughout 2014. We’re committed to winning national policing reforms and ensuring Justice for Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, Tanisha Anderson, and too many others.
4) Combat toxic media representations of Black folks, which lead to us being seen as less than human by society at large.
5) Jump on rapid-response moments as they emerge to influence the national dialogue.
...and there's a lot more in the pipeline.
We know that $100 is a lot of money for many people. So if you can’t give that amount, we completely understand. Please consider giving another amount.
At ColorOfChange, we value every donation that’s made - whatever the size - because the way we create change is through an engaged community of people pitching-in and taking action together.
Thank you for whatever you're able to give!
