Student Debt Crisis has long advocated for stronger consumer protections that protect student loan borrowers from unaccountable servicing companies. It’s time that the Department of Education stops doing business with unscrupulous student loan servicers, like Navient, that harass borrowers, tack on unfair fees and penalties, and engage in other practices that make borrowers' lives that much more difficult.
