Chris Flanagan for 1st Barnstable State Representative
The Committee to Elect Chris Flanagan greatly appreciates your consideration of donating and supporting Chris' campaign.
A little about Chris, he is a father, husband, public servant, and community builder. Locally, Chris was elected twice to the Dennis Select Board, and has served as the Chair for three years. His work has supported teachers, students, first responders, veterans, the environment, and leading emergency responses.
As the Executive Officer of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod, Chris has worked in support of the building trades and housing. Additionally, Chris serves on the Barnstable County Economic Development Council, is an advisory board member of the Cape Cod Climate Change Collaborative, and a board member of the Cape and the Islands MassHire Workforce Development Board.
Before moving back to Cape Cod, Chris served in the U.S. Senate for Senator John Kerry and Senator Mo Cowan, and then, served in the U.S. Department of State for Secretary John Kerry.
Supporting public education, infrastructure, climate and coastal resiliency, economic development, and housing are some of Chris' key issues he would like to work on.
The 1st Barnstable District consists of all of the towns of Brewster and Dennis, and most of Yarmouth.
