Democrats are running across the country in red states and in red districts in blue states. They can win.
State parties are historically underfunded for the amount of work they do to support the entire Democratic ticket.
When we have strong state parties—not just battleground state funding—we win up and down the ballot.
We are featuring a handful of state parties who believe in organizing year round and who each have candidates who can win in red areas.
The state parties in each of these states are working hand and hand with the candidates trying to get the resources needed to win in the homestretch of 2022.
National party committees do not invest in “hard to reach” races—they are focused on battleground states and defending incumbents. And, we respect that.
We also know we have to expand the map!
Nebraska: Patty Pansing Brooks made up 10 partisan points a few days after the Roe decision. She is running for NE1 against a Republican who will not only vote for a national abortion ban but has a history of voting against the LGBT community and stood with foreign oil over Nebraska farmers property rights.
Washington: Marie Perez is poised to take WA-03 for Dems for the first time in decades, against an ultra-MAGA carpetbagger, with Proud Boys on his team! Independents and Republicans “crossing over” have made this a 47-45% race for Marie, but we need a strong ground game to win. Backed by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Marie would be the first Latina Congressional from Washington, and is a working class mom plus a 5th generation leader in her district.

South Carolina: getting profile.
