In the 2026 midterms, Central Kentucky has a real shot to reject Trump’s authoritarian power grab by electing a Democrat to Congress from the 6th District, something we haven’t seen since 2010.
Andy Beshear proves it's possible: he’s won this district every time he’s been on the ballot. But so has Trump, winnning these voters in 2016, 2020, and again in 2024.
Progress Kentucky has a plan to target critical voters in the most important precincts - engaging, educating, and mobilizing the voters we'll need to flip the 6th and take Trump's power - while also holding and flipping key Kentucky house seats in the 6th to send the best possible team to Frankfort to work with Andy Beshear.
