Chip in to fight food price gouging!

The cost of food has increased 10.1% on average from May 2021 to May 2022, with take-home groceries rising by 11.9%. But why?

Corporate greed.

Corporate giants like Tyson Foods, Nestle, and PepsiCo. are raising prices higher and faster than necessary, blaming it on inflation while raking in billions of dollars in record-setting profits.

The price gouging by Tyson Foods, Nestle, General Mills, Wendy's, PepsiCo, and more is especially tough on the Black community. Many Black households are forced to choose between food and housing, both essential expenses that have had the highest price increases.

Color Of Change is fighting back. We’re adding to our research team to monitor those responsible for driving up the ever-increasing food prices, and we’re building winning campaigns to make food more affordable. We’ve been tracking price gouging at food manufacturers like Tyson Foods, PepsiCo, Nestle, and Coca-Cola, exposing their greed and holding them accountable for the damage they’re doing to our communities.

We’re in this fight for the long haul, but we can’t do it without you. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting injustice, we rely on our members to fund campaigns like this. We know it’s hard out there, and we’re grateful for whatever you can spare.

Chip in a few dollars today to help us hold greedy corporations accountable to hard-working people like you!
