As we approach holiday season number three without one of our sweet daughters, our family is simultaneously so full of love and yet still incomplete. But not a day goes by that we don't realize the lasting impact our little girl's story has made on the lives of so many around the world.
After our family is done celebrating the holidays, the fight is on once again as the Texas legislature meets in Austin. They will file bills that will attempt to regulate women's bodies under the guise of protecting those who don't have a voice. Except, as her mother, I was Catie's voice. I still am her voice. I will not be silenced. I will tell her story. I will shout it from the rooftops that pro-life (birth) laws may well have caused me to lose both of my daughters instead of allowing me to mercifully let one of them go in peace. I will persist. For her. For them.
NARAL Pro-Choice Texas needs your help to continue the fight. Please help me by making even a small donation this season. Or consider becoming a monthly sustainer. Even $10 a month can make a huge difference in what our organization is able to accomplish.
