Forward California/SoCal Blue
The Forward California Action Fund (forwardcalifornia.org) is a 501c4 non-profit that channels small donations (we take no money from corporate PACS) into the emerging grassroots infrastructure. We support civic engagement and representative government of, by, and for all Americans.
Our funds are chiefly used to support the SoCal Blue Event Calendar and Blue Voter Guide. The calendar spans the left-leaning political spectrum, and has become a go-to resource for collaboration amongst activists, organizers and volunteers both in the southland and across the country. Blue Voter Guide helps voters in all 50 states to make faster, smoother, smarter voting decisions by serving a concise list of key endorsements for candidates and measures as they appear on individual ballots.
SoCal Blue was founded in early 2017 as Swing SoCal Left. The organization played a central role in organizing the district coalitions that produced record turnout and swept the region’s 2018 Congressional elections. Our work has continued in every election cycle since.
Contribution rules
- Charitable donations made through this form are received and processed by ActBlue Civics, Inc., a 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organization formed to democratize charitable giving, and are subject to ActBlue’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
