Christina Bohannan is a Constitutional Law professor at the University of Iowa and a former Representative in the Iowa State House. Bohannan was the first in her family to graduate college, first earning a degree in environmental engineering and later a degree in law. Bohannan has worked as an engineer with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and as a clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She was elected to the Iowa legislature in 2020, where she worked to support small businesses, increase investment in public schools, and protect seniors. In Congress, Bohannan will continue to be a champion for small businesses and public education and will also fight to address rising costs, increase Iowa’s access to markets, and make Iowa a clean-energy leader.
