Andrei Cherny first entered public service working in the Clinton White House. Following 9/11, Andrei enlisted and served eight years as a Navy reserve intelligence officer and later also served as an Arizona Assistant Attorney General where he prosecuted cases related to cross-border human and drug trafficking and financial fraud and corruption. In 2013, Andrei co-founded and spent a decade as CEO of a sustainability-focused financial services company that helped move billions of dollars away from fossil fuel projects and launched one of the world’s largest private-sector reforestation initiatives. Andrei and his family have lived in Phoenix for two decades.

Contributions or gifts to Andrei for Arizona are not deductible for income tax purposes. An individual or federal PAC may contribute a maximum amount of $3,300/$5,000 per election, the Primary and General being separate elections. Contributions from corporations, labor organization treasury funds, foreign nationals, and federal government contractors are prohibited. Contributions must be made from the contributor's own funds, not those of another and contributors may not be reimbursed by any other person or entity.
