FP Action Network: Denise Powell (NE-02)

Denise Powell is a small business owner, healthcare advocate, and the daughter of Cuban and Chilean immigrants. She began her career at multinational public relations firms helping American companies expand across Latin America, and went on to lead global communications for Hilton Hotels & Resorts, overseeing work across hundreds of properties on six continents. She later co-founded Women Who Run Nebraska, which recruits and supports women running for office, and has served on the boards of organizations serving immigrants, refugees, and survivors of trafficking. Now, Powell is running to represent Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District, to restore America's standing in the world and deliver for the families of Omaha.

Contributions or gifts to Denise Powell for Congress are not deductible for income tax purposes. An individual or federal PAC may contribute a maximum amount of $3,500/$5,000 per election, the Primary and General being separate elections. Contributions from corporations, labor organization treasury funds, foreign nationals, and federal government contractors are prohibited. Contributions must be made from the contributor's own funds, not those of another and contributors may not be reimbursed by any other person or entity. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.
