Chris Van Hollen has represented Maryland in the U.S. Senate since 2017, where he has a fierce advocate for a smarter defense budget and a fully funded State Department and USAID. Prior to serving in the Senate, Van Hollen represented Maryland’s 8th Congressional District and served in the Maryland State House. Van Hollen was born in Karachi, Pakistan and is the son of a Foreign Service Officer. In the Senate, Van Hollen Chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Africa and Global Health Policy, helping combat COVID-19 and shape global health policies.

An individual or federal PAC may contribute a maximum amount of $2,900/$5,000 per election, the Primary and General being separate elections.
