Freedom House Detroit is a temporary home and lifetime community for people from across the globe who are fleeing persecution and seeking asylum in the US. Freedom House provides a continuum of services designed to support asylum seekers throughout their journey to safety and freedom. From shelter and legal aid to medical and mental health care access to English language-learning and American resume development, Freedom House is Michigan’s only full-service asylum agency.
