What is the Freedom & Justice Society?
LCDC's Freedom & Justice [Giving] Society, formerly the JFK Society, was created to provide funding for LCDC operations, education, and outreach.
Foremost, Freedom & Justice donations support our elections work such as…
Funds also support our DEI initiatives, such as giving sponsorships to local organizations representing marginalized groups, providing literature in multiple languages, and allowing us to table at a wide range of cultural events throughout the year.
In short, funds raised through Freedom & Justice Society allow LCDC do fulfil its mission of supporting Democratic candidates at all levels in Loudoun County.
How Does Freedom & Justice Work?
Donors may choose to donate one time, by clicking the appropriate amount under "Donate Immediately," or they can make monthly recurring donations--paying over time--by clicking "Yes, count me in!" under "Make it monthly." If you choose the latter option, please enter the appropriate amount in the blank donation box.
If you have any questions about benefits, changing your monthly contribution amount, or about the Freedom & Justice Society in general, please contact Phil Carl at p_carl@hotmail.com.
Saying Thank You!
Gifts to Freedom & Justice are made to further the mission of LCDC, however, we want to help members stay engaged and to show our appreciation by offering the following benefits to each member of the Society.
Piedmont Level ($250 or $21/month)
Eastern Shore Level ($500 or $42/month)
Blue Ridge Level ($1000 or $84/month)
Chesapeake Level ($2500 or $208/month)
*Tickets and recognition at events are for Freedom & Justice contributions made in the same calendar year. While Freedom & Justice contributions are accepted throughout the year, tickets and special recognition at events can only be given to Freedom & Justice members who commit prior to the events in the calendar year their commitment is made. For example, the Road from Richmond is held in March 2026 and so tickets and recognition to that event can only be made for members who commit prior to March 2026. The LCDC Garden Party will be held in May 2026.
Monthly payments can be scheduled through the year, and benefits will be provided if the initial commitment is made prior to the events of the given calendar year.
