Thurgood Marshall Dinner & Awards Ceremony

On September 18, 2026, the Montclair NAACP will celebrate 110 years in the fight for civil rights and social justice! While it is indeed a testimony to the legacy of the oldest and largest civil rights organization in the world, and to the foot soldiers to whom we owe much respect and gratitude, we have reached a pivotal moment when we must recognize the power of our collective voices or risk the freedoms that were fought so long and so hard for. Your support enables us to persevere, and to foster a sustained resistance in defense of freedom, justice and equality!

The theme for this milestone event, “We the People,” honors that 110-year commitment to building “One United America”—a nation not divided by race, gender, class, creed, or religion and through that commitment, we collectively reaffirm that WHEN WE FIGHT, WE WIN!
