Save the French Hay!
The centerpiece of the Chickahominy Environmental Park: 60-acre environmental park in Hanover County
American River Restoration is seeking funding to save the French Hay! This historical building is rich with Hanover County history and is located close to the Chickahominy River right by the I-95 and I-295 interchange. The building needs major restoration, and it's in need of IMMEDIATE repair before it crumbles and all its history is lost.
Once the building is restored it will be the centerpiece of a beautiful park created by American River Restoration to enjoy the river, and learn the history of the area and all that Hanover County has to offer its visitors and residents.
