Dear friends,

I am excited to announce I am running for re-election as Alderman of the 2nd Ward in Berwyn. I am so proud of my accomplishments during my first term, including

• revamped the firework ordinance and working with the Police and Fire Departments to improve our residents concerns.
• I sat on the Ad Hoc Rodent Committee which brought forth recommendations for city-wide rodent abatement improvements.
• Kept my promise to host quarterly ward meetings and help various ward clean-ups.
• I have consistently questioned no-bid contracts and voted no on property tax increases.
• Being bilingual I have been able to reach out to more 2nd Ward residents.
• Asking the right questions which has saved us money on a loan agreement when the proposal added a maintenance fee. The bank ultimately waived the fee once I brought it to everyone's attention.

But there is much work still to be done. Business as usual has failed us and we need a new approach.

As a common sense Progressive I have been able to balance the needs of all my residents.
