My name is Chris Eachus, and I am currently Assemblymember for NY's 99th district.
I’ve lived in the Hudson Valley for most of my life. I spent 40 years in the classroom as an AP Physics, math, and earth science teacher at schools throughout the Hudson Valley, including Newburgh Free Academy, Storm King, and New York Military Academy. Previously, I also had the privilege of serving for 12 years in the Orange County Legislature and as a former Vice Commander of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 1796.
Serving my community, both in the classroom and as a public official, is an honor that I cherish deeply. I believe it is our duty to give back to the communities that give us so much, whether that be the veterans or the leaders of tomorrow, and it is why I continue to serve to this day.
