I’ve resided in Eugene for 36 years, and for 22 years, my family and I have lived in the Bethel area. Four of my children have been raised in Eugene and have attended Eugene 4j and Bethel Schools. This is my home, you are my neighbors, and I have been and continue to be an activist for the underrepresented and underserved communities in Eugene since moving here in 1986.

In my view and experience there are chronic issues challenging the health and welfare of the citizens of my ward and the city as a whole; poverty, homelessness, climate recovery, environmental stewardship, and racial, gender, cultural equity and inclusion. 

If I am re-elected, I will continue to pursue viable, and impactful solutions for these challenges, and advocate for meaningful investment in the development and growth of the Bethel area and making Eugene an accessible, equitable, and inclusive city for everyone to call home.
